USP Progesterone (wild yam root) | Diosgenin or wild yam is often promoted as a “natural alterative” to estrogen therapy, so you will see it used for estrogen replacement therapy, vaginal dryness in older women, PMS (premenstrual syndrome), menstrual cramps, weak bones (osteoporosis), increasing energy and sexual drive in men and women, and breast enlargement. Wild yam does seem to have some estrogen-like activity, but it is not actually converted into estrogen in the body. It takes a laboratory to do that. |
Red clover leaf extract | Red clover contains “isoflavones” which are changed in the body to “phytoestrogens” that are similar to the hormone estrogen. |

The underground stems and roots of black cohosh are commonly used fresh or dried to make strong teas (infusions), capsules, solid extracts used in pills, or liquid extracts (tinctures). |
Chamomile extract | Chamomile and other herbal medicines has been shown to ease upset stomach, heartburn, nausea, and vomiting. |
