PropanediolIt is produced on a large scale and is primarily used in the production of polymersbut also sees use in food processing as the E-number E1520.
GlycerineGlycerin is what is called a humectant. Glycerin helps maintain the skin’s water balance on an intercellular level. Glycerin in lotions or other skin care products can help prevent or combat dry skin.
Sodium StearateSodium stearate is a highly functional material in cosmetic formulations. It can stabilize emulsions like lotions, it can make a product thicker, more viscous, and it can make a product have a creamy feel and appearance. Sodium stearate is also a major constituent of soap. In a deodorant product it has the unique ability to form a gel with other materials like propylene glycol, glycerin, and propanediol. This gel gives our stick deodorant its base structure, so it can be properly applied in the manner consumers expect.
Zinc RicinoleateIt is used in many deodorants as an odor-adsorbing agent.
Polyglyceryl-3 CaprateIt is a re-fatting agent for hair and skin cleansing applications with skin smoothing properties. It will also help thicken surfactant based formulations such as shampoos and shower gels with the added benefit of being nitrogen-free.
Melaleuca AlternifoliaTea tree oil is derived from the leaves of the tea tree. The tea tree was named by eighteenth century sailors, who made tea that smelled like nutmeg from the leaves of the tree growing on the swampy southeast Australian coast. Do not confuse the tea tree with the unrelated common tea plant that is used to make black and green teas.
Citrus GrandisGrapefruit is a source of vitamin C, fiber, potassium, pectin, and other nutrients. Some components might have antioxidant effects that might help protect cells from damage or reduce cholesterol.
Tocopheryl AcetateIt is used in a variety of cosmetic and personal care products, including lipstick, eye shadow, blushers, face powders and foundations, moisturizers, skin care products, bath soaps and detergents, and hair conditioners.
Sucrose CocoateDue to its emollient properties, sucrose cocoate is a popular ingredient in skin creams and moisturizers. Its thickening properties make it an ideal addition to both gel and foam skin cleansers. Sucrose cocoate is commonly used in skin moisturizers.
Silica Sodium BicarbonateSodium bicarbonate reduces stomach acid. It is used as an antacid to treat heartburn, indigestion, and upset stomach.
SilicaIncreasing bone mineral density when obtained from foods.
Glyceryl StearateGlyceryl Stearate reduces the greasiness of oils used in certain cosmetics and personal care products
EthyhexylglycerinEthylhexylglycerin is a topical skincare ingredient and deodorizing agent, often indicated as a conditioning ointment in the treatment of eczema.
Behenyl AlcoholAn emulsifier that also keeps the oil and liquid parts of a solution from separating. Its other functions include altering the thickness of a liquid, increasing foaming capacity, and stabilizing foams.
AllantoinThis medication is used as a moisturizer to treat or prevent dry, rough, scaly, itchy skin and minor skin irritations.
Zea MaysIt is also a common alternative to antibiotics when treating a urinary infection resulting from bacteria. Excessive use of antibacterial medications can lead to bacterial resistance to these medications, and complications can arise in children who take pharmaceutical medications.
Amyl CinnamalA perfume ingredient whose main function is to add fragrance to a product. It has a floral scent reminiscent of jasmine.
Benzyl BenzoateBenzyl benzoate is the organic compound with the formula C6H5CH2O2CC6H5. It is the ester of benzyl alcohol and benzoic acid.
Benzyl SalicylateIt is used as a solvent for crystalline synthetic musks and as a component and fixative in floral perfumes such as carnation, jasmine, lilac, and wallflower
CitronellolCitronellol is used in perfumes and insect repellents, and as a mite attractant. Citronellol is a good mosquito repellent at short distances, but protection greatly lessens when the subject is slightly further from the source
IsoeugenolIn cosmetics and personal care products, Isoeugenol is used in the formulation of perfumes, shaving products, and skin care products.
FragranceAppropriate for use on the human body
