Company Founding:
The company was founded in 1980 by a group of health conscious individuals in Northern California who were learning about the benefits of whole body internal cleansing. However, the high quality herbs and fiber that they needed were not readily available. Because of this need, the original Internal Cleansing Program was introduced in 1980.

Since that time, Yerba Prima has continued to develop, manufacture and market a range of dietary fiber and internal cleansing products that are of the highest quality, are natural and that respond to the needs of health conscious individuals.

In 1991, Yerba Prima moved from Northern California to beautiful Ashland, Oregon. Ashland is located in the Rogue River valley of Southern Oregon, known for its fruit, its salmon-filled mountain lakes and rivers, and its rugged natural setting. Yerba Prima is only minutes away from major trucking routes and an airport, allowing us to easily ship our products nationwide and worldwide.
