Safflower OilSafflower seed oil is used for preventing heart disease, including "hardening of the arteries" (atherosclerosis) and stroke.
Glyceryl StearateGlyceryl Stearate is derived from palm kernel, vegetable or soy oil and is also found naturally in the human body.
Stearic AcidStearic acid is one of many fatty acids that occur naturally in various plants and animal derivatives. It’s found in such products as animal tallow, cocoa butter and vegetable fats. When it’s used in cosmetic products, stearic acid primarily fulfills the role of a thickener or hardener. Stearic acid is the substance that helps your bar of soap retain its shape — just as it does in products such as candles, oil pastels and hard candies.
Cetyl AlcoholCetyl alcohol is used in the cosmetic industry as an opacifier in shampoos, or as an emollient, emulsifier or thickening agent in the manufacture of skin creams and lotions. It is also employed as a lubricant for nuts and bolts, and is the active ingredient in some “liquid pool covers” (forming a surface layer to reduce evaporation and retain heat).
Organic Aloe Vera GelAloe (often called aloe vera) produces two substances, gel and latex, which are used for medicines.
Octyl Dimethyl PabaPABA is taken by mouth for skin conditions including vitiligo, pemphigus, dermatomyositis, morphea, lymphoblastoma cutis, Peyronie’s disease, and scleroderma. PABA is also used to treat infertility in women, arthritis, “tired blood” (anemia), rheumatic fever, constipation, systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), and headaches. It is also used to darken gray hair, prevent hair loss, make skin look younger, and prevent sunburn.
PanthenolNatural Conditioner
LecithinLecithin is a fat that is essential in the cells of the body. It can be found in many foods, including soybeans and egg yolks. Lecithin is taken as a medicine and is also used in the manufacturing of medicines.
HoneyHoney has long been known by many cultures to have a wide range of health benefits in adults.
Royal JellyThere is very little scientific information available about the effects of royal jelly in people. In animals, royal jelly seems to have some activity against tumors and the development of “hardening of the arteries.”
AllantoinThis medication is used as a moisturizer to treat or prevent dry, rough, scaly, itchy skin and minor skin irritations.
Retinyl PalmitateRetinyl palmitate is a synthetic alternate for retinyl acetate in vitamin A supplements, and is available in oily or dry forms.
TocopherolVitamin E is an essential vitamin for the human body. Out of the eight tocopherols, alpha-tocopherols are the most commonly available and are also preferentially absorbed and used by the body.
Apricot Kernel OilApricot kernel is the inner part of the seed of the apricot fruit. The kernel is used to produce oil and other chemicals used for medicinal purposes.
Corn OilCorn is a food that gives us plenty of chewing satisfaction, and its high ratio of insoluble-to-soluble fiber is partly the reason.
BarleyBarley is used for lowering blood sugar, blood pressure, and cholesterol, and for promoting weight loss. It is also used for digestive complaints including diarrhea, stomach pain, and inflammatory bowel conditions.
LemongrassHas a Wide Range of Health Benefits
GinsengMay Improve Blood Flow and Immune Functions.
Potassium SorbatePotassium sorbate’s use as an antimicrobial preservative prevents the growth of mold, bacteria and fungi in cheese, dried meats, baked goods, jellies and syrups.
Sodium benzoateUsed chiefly as a food preservative and anti-fungal agent, and in diagnostic tests of liver function.
TriethanolomineTriethanolamine, often abbreviated as TEA, is a viscous organic compound that is both a tertiary amine and a triol. A triol is a molecule with three alcohol groups. Triethanolamine is a strong base. Triethanolamine can also be abbreviated as TEOA, which can help to distinguish it from triethylamine.
PhenoxyethanolPhenoxyethanol is chemical preservative which is used in many applications such as cosmetics, vaccines and pharmaceuticals.
Natural FragranceAppropriate for use on the human body
